Network planning

Define which devices need wired connections and which will use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth LE before assigning the four Gigabit Ethernet ports. Where the installation uses VLANs, plan the port and tag assignments together with the connected equipment. Select the primary and backup network paths and test the dual-SIM switching scenario. The quoted cellular rate is a maximum; coverage and network conditions at the site should be assessed when estimating the capacity available to the application.
