Selection and integration
Use the RS485 interface to connect compatible serial equipment to a cellular communication path. For an existing Modbus or DNP3 installation, document the device addresses and communication parameters before configuring the gateway. Check the mobile coverage available at the site and the antenna position inside or outside the enclosure. During commissioning, verify that the remote system receives the expected measurements and that communication resumes after an interruption. Match the power supply, serial wiring and mounting arrangement to the manufacturer's installation instructions for the TRB145.
