The PLC already receives the measurement. Now a recorder needs it too.
The important detail lies between the two outputs.

In this design example, we follow the signal in the control cabinet that also needs to reach the recorder. We arrive at PR 3109 from PR electronics: its two outputs are galvanically isolated from each other as well.

The converter/splitter:
• converts one analogue input signal into two output signals;
• provides four-port galvanic isolation: the input, the two outputs and the power supply;
• takes up 6.1 mm on the DIN rail, for integration into a cabinet with limited space.

A single measurement point results in two isolated paths. When selecting the device, we check the signal ranges and the requirements of each connected input.

What do you check first when the same measurement needs to be sent to two systems?
