The same measurement, two destinations: do you keep the 4…20 mA signal or convert it?
The choice starts with the range required by each input.

1:1 repetition preserves the signal range. Conversion becomes relevant when the connected system requires a different range or a voltage signal.

For the first approach, PR 3108 from PR electronics is a 1→2 analogue signal splitter:

• it duplicates one current input on two separate outputs, without dividing its value;
• it provides four-port galvanic isolation: the input, the two outputs and the power supply;
• it operates without configuration, repeating the signal at a 1:1 ratio.

In an example with a 4…20 mA input, both outputs repeat 4…20 mA. If one destination requires 0…10 V, check a solution that also supports the necessary conversion.

Which project requirement makes you choose conversion rather than 1:1 repetition?
