Level Switches

Point level switches detect when a predefined level is reached and trigger start/stop commands for pumps, conveyors or other filling equipment. Unlike continuous measurement, they don’t track intermediate levels, but simply provide a reliable binary signal that can be integrated into any control system.

Select point level detection from the medium and duty

Point level instruments provide binary detection for minimum level, maximum level, leakage or overfill duties. First identify whether the medium is a liquid, granular solid or powder, then choose a model specified for that material and detection task. Confirm the process connection, installation position and switching arrangement on the selected instrument. Define the required switching point and the receiving control input before ordering. For applications requiring a continuously measured level value, consult the continuous level measurement category instead.
